The special issue on Recommender Systems to support the dynamics of virtual learning communities (Rs4vlc) in the International Journal of Web Based Communities gathers a collection of papers that reflect the support that can be provided by recommender systems in virtual learning communities. It focuses on the e-learning domain and the virtual learning communities that grow around it.
